Another apartment complex is coming to Palms, according to a recent case filing with the Los Angeles Department of City Planning.

Yesterday, developer RKR Partners, LLC filed plans to demolish a small residential building at the corner of Overland and Rose Avenue and construct a larger six-story structure in its place.  The proposed development would include 41 residential units - including 4 that would be set aside as very low income housing.

Additional details are currently unclear.

The approximately quarter-acre project site lies within a dense section of the Palms neighborhood, less than a half-mile north of where developers Anejo Development, LLC and Griffin Opportunities, LLC are now constructing a similar mixed-use building.
