The Bedford Group, a Los Angeles-based real estate developer, is looking to construct a condominium complex near the Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area, according to a document from the L.A. County Board of Supervisors.

The project, which would be located near the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Overhill Drive, would consist of two five-story buildings featuring 88 one-, two- and three-bedroom dwellings, as well as amenities such as a swimming pool, a business center and a clubhouse.

Architecture firm Michael Luna & Associates is designing the project, which is known as the View at Overhill.  Plans call for units between 1,288 square feet and 2,400 square feet in size, with sales prices in the $400,000s and $500,000s.

In Inglewood, a local developer has filed plans to construct townhomes just west of La Brea Avenue. The proposed development, slated for an L-shaped property at 113-133 W. Plymouth Street, would replace 11 existing single-family residences with 20 three-story townhomes above a basement parking garage.
