Developer Mill Creek Residential is forging ahead with construction of Modera Hollywood, a two-building mixed-use developer located just south of the Hollywood & Highland Center.

The property, rising on two lots along 1600 Highland Avenue and 1600 McCadden Place, will create a pair of six-story structures featuring 248 residential units above 12,785 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.  Plans call for a mixture of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, averaging 861 square feet in size, in addition to communal ameniteis such as swimming pools, roof decks, dog parks and fitness centers.

Killefer Flammang Architects designed the project, which renderings portray with contemporary podium-type structures clad in white stucco and accented by wood panels.

Mill Creek purchased the development from Champion Real Estate Group, which originally entitled the two properties along Selma Avenue.  Completion of Modera Hollywood is expected in Spring 2019.

Mill Creek has also filed plans for a similar podium-type building at the intersection of Selma nad Argyle Avenue.
