A new rendering has emerged for a four-story office building now under construction in the Arts District.

The project, located at 500 S. Santa Fe Avenue, features over 90,000 square feet of leasable floor space in addition to 199 parking spaces and a rooftop amenity center.

According to marketing materials from Lee & Associates, completion of the low-rise building is expected in December 2017.

Chalmers Equity Group, the developer behind the office complex, is also responsible for the adjacent building that serves as the headquarters for Lucky Brand Jeans.

Both developments are situated in close proximity to the new Sixth Street Viaduct, as well as the 12-acre park that is planned below.

Crane Action at Hollywood's Thompson Hotel

11-story building sprouts between Hollywood and Sunset Boulevards.

Construction is now kicking into high-gear at Hollywood's slow-moving Thompson Hotel, with the arrival of a tower crane at 1523 Wilcox Avenue.

The project, which comes from Los Angeles-based developer Relevant Group, will consist of an 11-story building featuring 200 guest rooms, a rooftop pool deck, and multiple food-and-beverage venues.
