A multifamily residential complex is coming to Venice, per a filing today with the Los Angeles Department of City Planning.

The project, slated for a .30-acre site at 1015 E. Venice Boulevard, would replace three small dwellings with a larger apartment complex.  Applicants Venman, LLC and Venlin, LLC have submitted plans to construct a 56-unit building which would include six units of extremely low-income household - priced for those making 30 percent of the area median income.

The proposed development would require Tier III incentives under the Transit Oriented Communities Guidelines, which would allow for reductions to normally required rear and side yards, as well as on-site open space.
