LAFC has released a new video which showcases progress thus far at the $350-million Banc of California Stadium in Exposition Park.

Crews have already completed excavation for the pitch at the 22,000-seat soccer-specific venue, which is located near the intersection of Figueroa Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.  Work is still ongoing for the stadium's concrete frame, with the most visible progress occurring along the western portion of the site.

Architecture firm Gensler is designing the project, which will offer luxury accommodations and club seating featuring Art Deco decor and a swimming pool.

Banc of California Stadium is expected to open in time for the 2018 MLS season.

The new soccer stadium is one of several major projects coming to Exposition Park, including USC's $270-million renovation of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseium and the $1-billion Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.
