A small mixed-use building featuring office and ground-floor commercial space is nearing completion on the eastern border of Playa Vista.

The four-story edifice, located at 6960 Centinela Avenue, will offer 13,000 square feet of office space above a street-level restaurant and parking for up to 22 vehicles, according to an official website.

Netarq, a Los Angeles-based architecture firm, designed the project with high ceilings and multiple outdoor decks.

The property is currently for sale.

Just west of the Harbor Freeway, Lion Real Estate Group is now wrapping up construction at a new apartment complex overlooking the Downtown skyline. Eastview, as the property at 327-411 Boylston Avenue is known, consists of a seven-story building featuring 121 one- and two-bedroom apartments above parking for 145 vehicles.  Plans call for 14 of the residential units to be set aside as affordable housing.
