After more than two years of construction, Los Angeles-based developer CityView is nearing completion for the Pearl on Wilshire, a mixed-use complex on a long-vacant lot in Koreatown.

The project, which occupies half of a city block at 3670 Wilshire Boulevard, consists of a seven-story building featuring 346 apartments and 8,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

VTBS Architects designed the Pearl, which includes amenities such as a swimming pool and a rooftop deck.

In years past, the project site was envisioned with a high-rise tower fronting Wilshire and a new central park for Koreatown along 7th Street.
