One year after fencing off a series of vacant buildings at 12027-12035 Wilshire Boulevard, Metropolitan Pacific Real Estate Group is now one level above ground at the Picasso Brentwood apartments.

The project, designed by VTBS Architects, will consist of a six-story building featuring 81 market rate and affordable apartments, in addition to ground-floor commercial space and parking for 126 vehicles.

Renderings of the completed development portray a contemporary mid-rise structure, wrapped with glass balconies and capped with a rooftop amenity deck.

A completion date for Picasso Brentwood has not been announced.
