A long-vacant lot in Westlake is being repurposed as community green space by the Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust.

Golden Age Park, which is located at 739 S. Coronado Street, will span approximately 7,500 square feet.  The project is described as California's "first intergenerational park."

According to the LANT website, plans call for shade structures and landscaping.

Completion of the park is anticipated in Fall 2019.

LANLT is also developing Wishing Tree Park in Carson.  The eight-acre green space is slated to open in 2020.
