Earlier this year, Los Angeles-based developer 4Site Real Estate completed construction of Copper, a mixed-use apartment building in the Westlake district.

The project, located at 2300 Beverly Boulevard, consists of a four-story building featuring 45 apartments with ground-floor retail space and basement parking.

Tighe Architecture designed the wood-frame structure, which greets the corner of Beverly Boulevard and Park View Street with a shard-like tower element.  The finished product, captured by photographer Michael Hayes, closely adheres to renderings of the project.

4Site and Tighe work together frequently, with past collaborations that include small lot homes in Lincoln Heights and an apartment building now rising on Court Street.
