Just west of the Harbor Freeway, Lion Real Estate Group is now wrapping up construction at a new apartment complex overlooking the Downtown skyline.

Eastview, as the property at 327-411 Boylston Avenue is known, consists of a seven-story building featuring 121 one- and two-bedroom apartments above parking for 145 vehicles.  Plans call for 14 of the residential units to be set aside as affordable housing.

VTBS Architects designed the mid-rise structure, which features amenity decks and the roof and courtyard levels.  The finished produce closely resembles a rendering displayed on a leasing website.

The Eastview development will be followed with an even larger apartment complex a short distance east at Temple Street and Beaudry Avenue, where G.H. Palmer Associates has begun clearing the site of a massive 1,500-unit complex.  Also planned 1100 Temple is an eight-story, 53-unit apartment building.
