East L.A. Community Corporation has completed construction of the Cielito Lindo Apartments, a mixed-use affordable housing complex near the Gold Line's Soto Station in Boyle Heights

The five-story building, located near the corner of 1st and Soto Streets, features 50 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, which are priced between $458 and $1,060 per month.  The building also contains 8,500 square feet of office space for ELACC at its roof level and 5,000 square feet of ground-level commercial space.

The completed product closely resembles renderings by architecture firm Gonzalez Goodale.

A second phase of the project - featuring 28 apartments over retail - is planned for a property located immediately east along 1st Street.
