Nearly a year after we last dropped by, construction is complete for the Pico Eleven apartments in Santa Monica.

The project, developed by Peter Bohlinger, consists of a four-story building at 1112-1122 Pico Boulevard, featuring 32 residential units atop 64 parking stalls.  The developer agreed to subject 11 of the 32 apartments to rent control, and also provides four units of very low-income affordable housing.

KFA Architecture designed the project, which is split into three masses by two courtyards.  The building's look was inspired by California beach houses, and includes a facade of natural wood siding.

Rents for the building's market rate units range from $4,375 to $8,175 per month.
