An aerial image taken by architectural photographer Hunter Kerhart showcases progress on 950 East 3rd Street, a new residential-retail complex in the Arts District.

Located on a once vacant property adjacent to SCI-Arc, the the $215-million project consists of multiple five- and six-story buildings that will feature 471 apartments and 22,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

Kava Massih Architects designed the six-acre project, which is intersected with numerous green spaces and paseos.

Legendary Development and Fairfield Residential have schedule a partial opening for 950 E. 3rd Street by the end of 2017.

Mixed-Use Complex Planned in Center City Anaheim

New development to replace parking garage.

Later today, the Anaheim Planning Commission will consider a proposals to redevelop a parking structure at 350 W. Center Street Promenade with a mixed-use complex. The project, which comes from property owner LAB Holdings, calls for the construction of a six-story building featuring 57 apartments, 16,500 square feet of commercial and office space, and a new parking garage with 148 vehicle spaces.
