Nonprofit developer A Community of Friends (ACOF) is planning another affordable housing complex in the San Fernando Valley.

The latest project, located at 10966 W. Ratner Street in Sun Valley, will feature 44 restricted affordable units for seniors.  This includes seven units at the very low income level, 36 units at the low income level and one market rate manager's unit.

Additional details about the proposed development are currently unclear.

ACOF has a vast portfolio across Southern California, including ongoing or completed projects in Arlington Heights and Rampart Village.

Mixed-Use Development Proposed for Reseda Boulevard

Five-story building to rise north of Ventura Boulevard.

A one-story commercial building in Tarzana could make way for a mixed-use development, according to plans filed earlier today with the City of Los Angeles.  The project, slated for two parcels at 5431-5505 N. Reseda Boulevard would consist of a five-story building featuring 40 residential units - including five set aside for very-low-income households - above 2,540 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
