On the southern edge of Koreatown, vertical construction is mostly complete for a new mixed-use complex from local developer Jamison Services, Inc.

Located on a 1.5-acre property at 3060 W. Olympic Boulevard, the seven-story building will feature 226 one- and two-bedroom apartments, in addition to 16,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space and amenities such as a swimming pool and a fitness center.

In exchange for density bonuses, the developer has set aside 19 of the apartments for very-low income households.

KTGY Group is designing the podium-type building, which will be clad with a mixture of plaster, brushed concrete and masonry veneer.

Completion is expected in late 2017.

Senior Affordable Housing Coming to Santa Monica

Three-story development planned on 14th Street.

The Community Corporation of Santa Monica is pursuing the development of a new senior affordable housing complex just south of the 10 Freeway.
