The website of Humphreys & Partners Architects offers up fresh renderings for CityView's proposed mixed-use development at 1800 Beverly Boulevard in Westlake.

The five-story building - slated for a property bounded by Beverly Boulevard, Bonnie Brae Street, and Burlington Avenue - would offer 243 apartments - including 21 set aside for very-low-income households - above 3,500 square feet of ground-floor retail uses and basement parking for 292 vehicles.

Plans call for a contemporary wood-and-concrete structure, featuring open-space amenities such as a swimming pool, multiple courtyards, and a roof deck.

Construction of 1800 Beverly is anticipated to occur over 18 months, although an official groundbreaking date has not been announced.

The project is located a few blocks away from 2300 Beverly Boulevard, where a similar mixed-use building was recently completed.

CityView's other ongoing projects in the Los Angeles area include a six-story, 174-unit development now rising in Warner Center and a seven-story, 296-unit building slated for Grand Avenue and Adams Boulevard.
