An entity linked with local developer Wiseman Residential has filed plans to construct a new mixed-use complex in the Carthay neighborhood.

The project, which would replace an auto repair shop at the northwest corner of Pico and Crescent Heights Boulevards, calls for the construction of a six-story, 67-foot-tall building that would contain 125 apartments - including 13 units set aside for extremely-low-income households - above ground-floor commercial space.

The developer is seeking entitlements through the Transit Oriented Communities guidelines, which allows for increased density and height in projects near transit that include or create affordable housing.

Additional details regarding the project are unclear based on its case filing.

The development site is located just two blocks west of 5945 Pico Boulevard, where the Amoroso Companies filed plans in April for a similar mixed-use project featuring 123 apartments and ground-floor retail uses.
