A pair of single family residences in Glendale could be demolished to make way for new affordable housing, according to a filing last week with the City's Planning & Neighborhood Services Division.

The proposed development calls for razing a pair of 1920s houses at 452-458 W. Milford Street, followed by the construction of 15 units of apartments for very low income households.

Additional details about the project are currently unclear.

Glendale recently saw the completion of a larger 70-unit affordable housing complex located east of Brand Boulevard.
