An approximately 7,500-square-foot property in Santa Monica is slated for redevelopment with small condominium building.
The project site, located at 1244 14th Street, is a mid-block site between Wilshire Boulevard and Arizona Avenue. Plans call for razing an existing single-family home to make way for a two-story edifice featuring five residential units.
Jennifer Wen Architecture is designing the low-rise building, which would sit atop 10 parking spaces. Plans fall for a Modernist design with an exterior of smooth stucco.
The project was recently considered by the Santa Monica Architectural Review Board.
