A long-vacant property in Mid City Los Angeles could see the construction of a small lot subdivision.

Last week, an application was submitted to the Planning Department to subdivide a 7,000-square-foot parcel at 4700 St. Charles Place into four smaller lots - allowing for the construction of four single-family residences with a two-car garage.

Historic images show the lot as vacant since the late 1940s.

Additional details regarding the project are unclear.
