Ventura County-based Peterberg Companies is planning a new collection of small lot houses in Valley Village, according to the agenda of an upcoming meeting of the South Valley Area Planning Commission.

The proposed development, slated for a .38-acre site at 5137-5149 N. Colfax Avenue, calls for the demolition of four residential units, two commercial buildings and a buildboard to clear the way for the construction of 12 single-family houses.

The three-story buildings, designed by Nyu Designs, will each offer 1,800-square-foot floor plans with three bedrooms, a two-car garage and a rooftop deck.

A staff report from the Planning Department recommends approval for the project.
