Developer Holland Partner Group has completed construction for Sofia, its new residential development at the corner of 6th and Bixel Streets in City West.

The $200-million development includes a pair of six-story buildings, featuring 606 apartments above 25,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and an underground parking garage.  The mixture of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units offer floor plans from 488 square feet to 1368 square feet, with monthly rents between $1,975 and $4,249.

Downtown architecture firm Togawa Smith Martin designed Sofia, which features community spaces such as a swimming pool, a fitness center and multiple rooftop decks.

The Real Deal reports that supermarket chain Grocery Outlet has signed on to open a 16,000-square-foot story within the property's ground floor.

Holland Partner Group is behind numerous upcoming residential developments throughout the Downtown area, including a pair of 24-story towers on Spring Street and a 28-story building in South Park.
