The steel skeleton of a new office building is nearly complete at Sunset Las Palmas Studios in Hollywood.

Los Angeles-based real estate investment trust Hudson Pacific Properties broke ground last year on the project, which consists of a five-story, 128,000-square-foot structure at the corner of Seward Street and Romaine Avenue.

The building, designed by Rios Clementi Hale Studios, is depicted as an airy mid-rise structure with a greenhouse-inspired interior and a series of exterior decks and staircases.

Completion of construction is anticipated in mid-2020.

Sunset Las Palmas Studios is the third Hollywood studio campus purchased by Hudson Pacific Properties, following Sunset Bronson and Sunset Gower Studios.  The company has successfully redeveloped portions of the Bronson property - which is now leased by Netflix - and is currently seeking entitlements for a similar expansion of the Gower campus.
