Located at the southwest corner of Birch Knoll and International Avenue, the four-story dormitory will include 506 student beds in a mix of double, triple, and quadruple bedrooms.  Plans also call for 11 private rooms for resident advisors, a laundry facility, study rooms, lounges, and a two-bedroom apartment for a residential coordinator.

Construction is also in progress for a Commons Building, an abutting single-story structure which will feature administrative offices, a mail room, a convenience store, and a multi-purpose space.

Both buildings are being designed by Steinberg Hart.

The project is more than 80 percent complete as of early 2020, and is scheduled to open in time for Fall semester.

The new dormitory is the first step in a new master plan Dominguez Hills, which is planning to have nearly 1,000 on campus beds by the year 2035, in addition to 2,149 market-rate apartments.
