Two years ago, developer TRCF Redondo, LLC opened a pair of mid-range hotels adjacent to the San Diego Freeway.  That duo will soon become a trio.

The Utah-based firm is now in the midst of construction on a third hotel on the property, which is located between Marine and Inglewood Avenues, adjacent to the Green Line's Redondo Beach Station.  Plans call for a 180-key Homewood Suites by Hilton, which would also include a park and a small amount of meeting space.

The project, which is joining a Residence Inn by Marriott and a Hilton Garden Inn, is valued at approximately $90 million.

Proposed Small Lot Development Near Barnsdall Park Faces Appeal

Plans call for 18 small lot homes on Hollywood Boulevard.

On July 24, the Central Area Planning Commission is scheduled to consider an appeal of a proposed small lot subdivision across the street from Barnsdall Park. The project, located at 4765-4773 Hollywood Boulevard, calls for demolishing an existing commercial building and parking lot to make way for the construction of 18 single-family residences.  The three-story buildings would offer floor plans between 1,794 and 2,969 square feet, each featuring a two-car garage.
