Two years ago, developer TRCF Redondo, LLC opened a pair of mid-range hotels adjacent to the San Diego Freeway.  That duo will soon become a trio.

The Utah-based firm is now in the midst of construction on a third hotel on the property, which is located between Marine and Inglewood Avenues, adjacent to the Green Line's Redondo Beach Station.  Plans call for a 180-key Homewood Suites by Hilton, which would also include a park and a small amount of meeting space.

The project, which is joining a Residence Inn by Marriott and a Hilton Garden Inn, is valued at approximately $90 million.

LOHA-Designed Houses Coming to Franklin Village

Five small lot homes to rise north of the 101 Freeway.

Work is getting underway for a new set of small lot houses near Franklin Village in Hollywood, according to a representative of developer ROM Investments.

The project, located at 1826 Canyon Drive, will consist of five single-family residences, each featuring two bedrooms, 2.5-bathrooms, rooftop decks, and two-car garages.
