A multifamily residential development is set to rise from a vacant lot just north of Cal State University, Dominguez Hills in Carson.

Newport Beach-based Integral Development submitted an application roughly one year ago to construct the Victoria Green Townhomes at the northeast corner of Victoria Street and Central Avenue.  Plans call for a total of 175 residential units - including 95 three-story row homes and 80 three-story stacked flat units - with a recreation center, a dog park, and a linear park within a gated environment.

Urban Arena - an architecture firm with offices in Orange County - is designing the Victoria Green development.  A site plan on file with the City of Carson shows that the project would offer a mix of two- and three-bedroom dwellings, as well as parking for 417 vehicles.

The City of Carson published a proposed mitigated negative declaration for the project earlier this month.  A timeline has not been announced.
