Irvine-based real estate developer Brandywine Homes has broken ground on Citrine, a new townhome community in Norwalk.

Citrine, located on a one-acre property at 11433 Excelsior Drive, will consist of 16 residences ranging from 1,110 to 1,475-square-feet with designer finishes and unique floor plans.  The homes will be located next to an existing city park and also feature an common recreation area.

The project is considered an extension to Sunstone, a larger townhome community which Brandywine currently under construction in Norwalk.  The two communities are currently the only new home opportunities in the immediate area.

A grand opening of Citrine is scheduled for summer 2016.  The homes will be priced from the low $400,000s.
