Over six acres of land located south of the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center is slated for a new residential development, per an agenda item from this week's meeting of the Santa Ana Planning Commission.

The property at 1026 E. 4th Street, which currently functions as a truck storage facility, would be redeveloped with 117 residential units in a mix of small lot houses and attached townhomes.  Each building would stand three stories in height, featuring two-, three- and four-bedroom floor plans between 1,865 and 2,305 square feet.

A handful of site plans and renderings also show pockets of green space located throughout the project site.

Additional details about the project are currently unclear.
