Local developer Schon Tepler Group has unveiled plans to construct a mixed-use building in Arlington Heights.

The project, slated for a property at 3617-3623 Venice Boulevard, would consist of a five-story building featuring 28 apartments and ground-floor retail space.  The 26,500-square-foot development would replace a fourplex and an adjoining parking lot.

Renderings portray a contemporary low-rise structure, with amenity decks located at the podium and roof levels.  Several units also feature balconies.

According to a representative of Schon Tepler, construction of 3617 Venice is anticipated to begin in the first quarter of 2020.

Schon Tepler has several similar mixed-use buildings planned in Echo Park, Eagle Rock, and Rampart Village.
