The seven-story frame of a mixed-use development at 616 S. Kenmore Avenue is now complete, and exterior work is beginning for the project.

Located just north of Wilshire Boulevard in Koreatown, the completed product will feature approximately 57 rental apartments above 900 square feet of ground-floor medical office space and a partially subterranean parking garage.

DE Architects is designing the podium-type building, which will feature glass balconies and a rooftop amenity deck.

Santa Monica-based 611 Catalina Building, LLC is the project's developer, and Cambridge Homes is its general contractor.
