Kevin Tsai Architecture designed the 80,000-square-foot development, called LTD at Melrose Place, which will include a landscaped central courtyard and exterior finishes such as limestone and reclaimed wood.
A sales website advertises a mix of two- and three-level townhomes at the property, offering one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans up to 2,762 square feet in size.
The second project, located two blocks west at 724-748 N. Sweetzer Avenue, is called MVMNT at Melrose Avenue.
The four-story edifice will feature 49 one-, two-, and three-bedroom dwellings up to 2,468 square feet in size.
Renderings depict a pair of contemporary low-rise structures. City records indicate that the project is being designed by Orange County-based Hannouche and Kang Architects.
